I may have just jumped right into the middle of this argument, so forgive me if I sound a little off.
I agree with a little of what everyone has previously said.
Homosexuality is completely natural, otherwise it wouldn't be happening. Humans are just afraid of what they don't understand, and most can't understand why a guy would be attracted to another guy, or same with a girl. Of course, most of the male humans I know are attracted to lesbians because they love to see pornographic scenes with lesbians. Homosexuality is the same as heterosexuality, and really should not be viewed in such a fashion. Pornographic sites and teh suggestions of what gay males do with other gay males is what scares people like Bush, and makes them go into this denial/resist phase. I think homosexuals should have every right that anyone else has. I believe all humans should have equal rights no matter what their gender, race, views, sexual preferance, etc.
My other side to this is that Congresspeople are probably not going to ever see or even hear of this argument, and therefore never hear of the points we have brought across. I think that if we really want things to change for the better, we need to write to our congresspeople, and share our views. If enough people start saying something about it, then there'll be more of an impact, and there'll be a much better chance of something that we want being passed. This group here is nowhere near being the only ones who have these views.

Just to comment on 'what a ho's comment. A friend of mine, who happens to be gay, told me something about bisexuals. If you look at it in a certain way, bisexuals can be very accepting people, able to love both sides of the human race. Sure there are people who are bi and are sluts, but mind you there are just as many heterosexual sluts out there who are aching to get some bad action, so bad they'll screw just about anything. I would also liek to point out that I am bi, and I am completely opposed to having sex with anyone, or anythign for that matter.

This argument about gay marriage reminds me of a scene from Monty Python's Life Of Brian where the People's Front of Judea are arguing for Stan's right to have have babies.
