It's official, the Summer Sanitarium Tour 2003 is coming to the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis, July 25th at 3pm!!!! Looks like tickets go on sale Feb 22nd. I don't know ticket prices, but I'm sure nosebleed will be around 40 to 50 bucks looking at how many bands will be there.
Metallica, Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park, Deftones, Mudvane are all on the bill.

Tickets are $75.00 for all seats (this means general adminission). Tickets go on sale Friday Feb 21st at 5pm.

So you get there early, or get a spot up by the stage for LP or LB and stay there for Metallica. I didn't like the price too but for 5 bands that have at least 3 songs I know and like, I don't think this is a bad price. Hell, in April I'm paying 90 bucks for a concert with OK seats. Seats for that concert were 40 (shitty seats), 90 for good and 190 for floor, so I'm not saying anything about my GA 75 dollar seats

I remember Quiet Riot came to Pop's and they drew around 500 people...hell have you ever been to a Poison concert at Riverport? That place is crazy!!!!! 25,000 hoisers singing "every rose has it thorn" is rather amazing...

And regarding the Metallica tour.....they don't have dates yet for DC...but the word on the street is it will be at FedEx field (where the deadskins play). I'll definitly go....after all it is a good line-up they have, and Metallica has always put on a good show...and have usually played the "pre-black album" songs on their tours.
Has anyone heard a release date for the new album yet? And who is going to play bass for them....last I heard Bob Rock was laying down some tracks for various things, and played a gig with them (I think at the Whiskey in LA).
